There’s actually quite a lot of other activities to do besides hitting the tables or slot machines! So, if you’ve been wondering what to do in Las Vegas, wonder no more. We’ve collected ten ideas for your Vegas trip. Keep reading to find out what made the list!

1. What to Do In Las Vegas? Eat All the Food!

One of the top things you’ll see online if you’re searching what to do in Las Vegas is the food scene.

Las Vegas offers an amazing variety of food options and choices all in one spot. Quite a few world-renowned chefs like Wolfgang Puck and Gordon Ramsey have opened up branches of their restaurants in Las Vegas which makes it an amazing spot for foodies.

You also won’t want to miss out on the phenomenal buffet options that various hotels have going on. Whether its breakfast, lunch, or dinner, these buffets deliver above and beyond your expectations!

2. The Shopping

A short Uber or Lyft ride away from the strip you’ll find two little (they’re pretty big!) shopping gems of Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas North and Las Vegas South Premium Outlets are the place to go if you want to get your shop on. These outlets offer up a wide variety and range of shops to find your next favorite outfit and sale.

If you don’t want to leave the strip, some hotels offer their own shops in-house! You will find the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, The Grand Canal shops at the Venetian, and of course the Fashion Show Mall located next to Treasure Island hotel.

3. The Bars & Clubs

The bar scene in Vegas is something else entirely.

You’ll only find the best bars on the strip with popular DJs doing guest spots, and the most amazing drink concoctions you can only imagine. For most of the bigger venues, you will need to get tickets or book in advance to get in. The smaller spots are usually first come first serve, but it wouldn’t hurt to make a reservation!

The other thing the bars in Vegas are good for? Happy Hour!

The majority of the bars in Vegas participate with unreal drink deals during happy hour and of course the amazing carry-out option you have if you don’t finish your giant margarita. Vegas allows alcohol in the streets provided it’s not in a glass container.

4. The Pools

Not into shopping or the bar scenes? The next best thing are the pools.

Each hotel has its own private and swanky pool area for guests and visitors. You can relax at the tropical-esque pool at the Mirage or enjoy a Roman holiday at the pool at Caesars Palace.

Be sure to check out what the pool area looks like at the hotel you book. You won’t want to miss out on the R&R while lounging in the sun.

Spend the day seeing the sites of Nevada with a guided tour or opt to rent a car and do it on your own, there are plenty of options available.

7. The Free Shows

Some people don’t know but there are free shows you can see in Vegas!

The fountains at the Bellagio, the volcano show at the Mirage, and live circus performance at Circus, Circus are just a few options if you’re looking to really soak in Las Vegas.

The shows have certain times that they will display so it’s best to check online for showtimes!

8. Concerts/Performances

Of course, your other option is to check out the ticketed shows.

Famous performers will have a Vegas residency where you can watch them perform. Look into who’s where online to see if any of your favorites are performing.

Another popular option is the Cirque du Soleil shows that are put on. We highly recommend checking out this amazing experience if you haven’t been to their show already!
